Prologue: Salah seorang teman saya tergila-gila dengan lagu beautiful world. Well.. ada apa ini gerangan?

Menyanyi dengan soul? Dengan jiwa? Yak.. semua karya seni kan mencerminkan mood pengarangnya.. pasti jadi bagus banget kalo ’seni’ itu di buat dengan emosi. Kadang, bahkan sering, bisa ngubah mood orang lain..

Mau juga nyanyi dengan soul? Yang jelas liriknya harus sesuai dengan hati lo.. Dan satu lagi, bahasanya harus di mengerti.. sejauh ini saya cuma bisa bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris.. Jepang? agak agak lah. hehe..

Zazi: Aku dengerin beautiful worldnya hikki (Red: Utada Hikaru), kira-kira udah 300an lho! (sekarang udah 500, saudara-saudara.. = = buat screen shotnya minta dia aja. hoho)

ANJRET! gak usah tau liriknya kita juga tau kalo itu gambaran kepedihan hati!! Dari awal aja dah ketahuan banget!

Semenjak itu, saya buka-buka video-video Utada Hikaru di You Tube.. Katanya si Zazi sih, lagunya Hikki yang udah lumayan lama, yaitu “Hikari” jauuuuuuh lebih bagus daripada versi Inggrisnya, “Simple and Clean“. Lalu saya mendownload lagu Hikari.

Wuih! memang beda dari Simple and Clean! Lebih bagus ini kemana-mana.

Guru paduan suara-ku waktu SMP (skaligus guru musik) pernah bilang, kita nyanyi harus selalu dari hati.. jadi jangan kalo lagunya:

“Jiwaku ingin bernyanyi.. Serta tubuhku menari-nari.. Ooo” – Rebana

tapi nyanyinya loyo-loyo.. harus bernyanyi dari hati! Intinya gitu..

Well, sampai sekarang-pun, kalau saya bermain musik atau bernyanyi selalu berusaha menggunakan soul. Tapi ternyata sulit kalau memang gak mood atau lagunya gak pas buat saya.

Utada Hikaru aka Hikki… Penyanyi yang bener-bener tulus nyanyi dari SOUL!!

Sebelom nyanyi lagu terakhir ini di Utada United 2006, dia emang bilang, ini lagu kesayangannya. Karena namaya sama (Hikaru = Hikari yang berarti light. Meskipun di latin huruf akhirnya beda, tapi di Kanji hurufnya sama). Dia bernyanyi dengan segenap emosi. Dan ternyata hasilnya?

Sugoi! Banyak tone yang lepas karena saking nyanyi dengan emosi! Disitulah keindahan sebuah lagu.. menurutku.. meskipun dia dah mau pingsan, dah keringetan, tapi yang penting dia nyanyi dengan emosi.

Ada beberapa nada yang salah tembak.. Tapi its okay.. Soalnya ketutup sama keahliannya nyanyi.

Tentang lagu Hikari itu sendiri, inti dari liriknya adalah seorang yang kesepian, dia temuin seorang yang lain, yang dianggap light bagi dirinya.

Whoa?? Angela Aki adalah penyanyinya. Yang merupakan Sound Track dari Final Fantasy XII. Dia juga bikin ini, kata-katanya oke banget! Entah mengapa atau bagaimana, sambil main gitar, saya bisa bernyanyi ini dari hati. Mungkin karena masih bersangkutan dengan perpisahan SMP? Yah, pisah dari sahabat-sahabat emang gak ringan!
